As you can see I went to Target! I could not resist the Target dollar spot because, I have seen other teacher bloggers share their awesome finds. So of course, I had to go see what I could find!
Although, I do not have a classroom of my own yet... I have heard that it's a good idea to start buying stuff early. But, I have also heard that you might inherit some stuff from other teachers, so I'll try to restrain from buying too much!
Today, I am going to share my Target dollar spot finds, along why I had to have them.
I bought everything for about $22 dollars, which includes a classroom calendar, 3 dry erase pockets, felt pencil banner, felt alphabet letters, dry erase word strips, wood clips, binder clips, self-inking stamps, and a ceramic décor apple.
The classroom calendar set includes the dry erase wall calendar with a blue-teal chevron print, 12 month headers, a month set of calendar dates, and a set of special days. (The set of dates and special days pages are folded, so only half is showing on each.)
This classroom calendar set was $3. I thought this was too cute to pass up, even though I will not be able to use it for a year.. when I start teaching.

The self-inking stamps were $3.
They say "Great Job!" "Super Star!" "Brilliant!" "Nice Work!" and "Excellent!". They would be great for encouraging students!
Dry erase pockets= $1 each.
I am really excited about these dry erase pockets, because they can be used for so many things. You could hang them up in your class and use them as a visual aid when teaching, or the students could use them for a variety of activities.

Dry erase word strips=$1 for 30!
I also love that these could be used for different things and can even be placed in pocket charts (I decided not to buy pocket charts yet)... Or students can use them to practice spelling or handwriting.

Binder clips=$1
These clips say "Now" "Review" "Later" and "Urgent." I got them because, they would be great for staying organized!

Felt pencil banner=$3 ( 7 felt pencils and a 60 inch string)
The adhesive felt letters=$3 (32 letters- consonants one of each, vowels two of each)
I plan on sticking the letters onto the felt pencils to spell something.. Maybe "WELCOME" but I'm not sure yet. Then, the remaining letters can be used for something else!

These are super cute! They say "Fantastic" "A+" "Super" and "Great Work." They could also be used for so many things, which is why I got them.

Lastly, I bought this ceramic decorative apple for $3.
I think it would sit nicely on my future teacher desk... but for now, it can sit on my desk at home for inspiration!
Maybe I'll even paint my last name on it!
